Serverless streaming for emerging media: towards 5G network-driven cost optimization

چکیده
Immersive 3D media is an emerging type of that captures, encodes and reconstructs the appearance people objects, with applications in tele-presence, teleconference, entertainment, gaming other fields. In this paper, we discuss a novel concept live immersive streaming serverless setting. particular, present network-centric adaptive framework which deviates from traditional client-based used 2D video. our decisions for production transcoding profiles are taken centralized manner, by considering consumer metrics vs provisioning costs inferring expected quality experience behavior based on them. addition, demonstrate naive application paradigm might be sub-optimal under some common scenarios.
